Our Romantic Cottages in NSW Are a Great Alternative to Cabins for Bush Getaways
Bombah Point Eco Cottages are surrounded by natural wonders making us a perfect location for romantic bush getaways in NSW. Usually, when people think about a holiday where they can reunite with nature, they think about cabins, but our 4-star romantic cottages provide the luxury you deserve.
You will be conveniently located when you stay in one of our beautiful cottages. The Myall Lakes National Park provides many opportunities to commune with nature or enjoy the beach. Bushwalking, swimming, fishing, and kayaking are just some of the activities that make the area perfect for romantic bush getaways.
The quaint fishing village of Seal Rocks is just a short drive away, and we’re sure you will appreciate how the town has remained undeveloped. It is renowned for its beaches and premier surfing. You can enjoy touring Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse which was erected to protect ships from crashing into the Seal Rocks for which the town got its name.
Hawks Nest is another local coastal town where you can enjoy its beaches. It is a bit more populated than Seal Rocks, so it affords you cafes and shops to enjoy as you meander through town. If you are the type of person who keeps their clubs in the boot, Hawks Nest has a golf course to scratch your golfing itch.
Bulahdelah’s name comes from the Worimi Aboriginal people who originally called the local mountain Boolah Dillah meaning “Great Rock.” Today the mountain is known as Alum Mountain and is accessible via several walking trails. While hiking, you will see remnants of the mining operations, and from the top, you have a beautiful view of the Myall River valley.
Romantic Cottages in NSW
Our beautifully designed romantic cottages are not your standard cabins as you will see in our gallery. The architecture is exquisite, and the amenities will make you feel pampered. Wood burning fireplaces and rainwater spa baths are just a couple of features that make our accommodation so unique.
Each cottage comes equipped with a full-service kitchen which includes a stove, oven, and refrigerator. Our communal garden grows organic fruits and vegetables to which you can help yourself to complement your dinner plans. If you enjoy cooking outside, we offer a BBQ on the wrap-around veranda as well. For breakfast, you can gather eggs laid by our very own hens.
If you are looking for a family holiday instead of a romantic getaway, our cottages sleep up to six comfortably. After a full day taking in the sights, the kids will love swimming in our pool, lying in the hammocks, exploring our wildlife sanctuary, and watching the chickens.
Our friendly and experienced staff can’t wait to help you relax and enjoy our romantic cottages in NSW. They are always available to suggest local activities or places to dine or explore. Contact Bombah Point Cottages to book a reservation or if you need help planning your itinerary.
